In this post I am sharing with you my finds for the month of July which are both beauty and lifestyle related. This is my first time doing a favourites post. If you enjoy it, please let me know in the comments box and I will try my best to do more of them! I love discovering new things (well who doesn’t really?) so why not share them with you?
Peppersmith Chewing Gum
Before discovering this I did not chew gum on a regular basis. The main reason for this being that the majority of gums found in the local supermarkets, have a vast amount of additives, sweeteners etc. I was thrilled when I found this product as it is 100% natural with no sugar. It contains the following ingredients:
I have been chewing this gum on a regular basis after meals and when I feel my mouth needs a bit of freshening up. It is approved by the British Dental Health Foundation so it must be good for your teeth, right? I purchased mine in Holland and Barrett for €2.49 and it comes with 10 pieces. It is a bit more pricey than your normal chewing gum but I guess that’s the price you pay for an all natural product. It’s worth it in my books!
I have known about and heard of the magic of Bio-Oil for a while now, but I have never actually tried it out till last month. I have been applying Bio-Oil to my face after cleansing before bed and I am liking it so far. I wake up in the morning with soft and supple skin. I also feel more confident now without makeup. This is because I have seen a difference in the evenness of my skin tone. It is priced at €27.49 for a 200ml bottle.
Stippling brushes for applying liquid/powder foundation are all the rave these days and I tried my first one a few weeks ago. I was pleased with the results. I did a full review on the stippling brush by Real Techniques if you want to check it out here: Stippling Brushes – What is all the Hype?
Ted Baker Makeup Bag Range
I am loving the range of make up bags that Ted Baker have to offer. I purchased this makeup bag for €11.00. I have been using this bag to store all my small items (like my Peppersmith gum) and it hasn’t left my purse since I bought it. It’s super pretty and comes a decent enough size. For me it’s not too big or not too small for my handbag. It saves me having to go on an excavational dig every time I’m looking for something!
What have your finds been for the month of July? I hope you enjoyed this post and don’t forget to follow if you wish to keep up to date!
