Yves Saint Laurent – Babydoll Mascara Review

20160705_203855

Hi everyone!

Today I am reviewing the YSL Babydoll Mascara. I have been using this product from Yves Saint Laurent for quite some time now and it is my favourite mascara.

Product claims:

With one stroke the mascara brush and formula magnifies your eyes through the innovative structure of dual-length bristles and intense colour pigment for defined volume with up to for 24 hour wear. The multifaceted brush alternates thick, widely spaced bristles to coat and magnify your lashes, while finer, more closely spaced bristles define eyelashes.

I was a bit skeptical before trying this out but I was impressed with the results!

It gives full coverage of the lashes and each coat gives additional volume. I prefer the natural look for everyday wear so one coat is enough to give the desired effect and make my lashes look longer and defined. I have never worn mascara for 24 hours straight, but it does last from day till night without top ups.

My main concern when trying a new mascara is whether it will cause my eyelashes to fall out. I have never had this problem and my lashes still look thicker than ever!

It comes in a range of shades – Fetish Black, Indiscreet Purple, Audacious Blue and Wheedler Brown. I bought the shade Fetish Black and I’m interested to know how the other shades in the range could look!

My rating – 9/10

It is priced at €32.50. I would highly recommend purchasing this if you are looking for a good quality mascara for everyday wear. The mascara can be layered, which also makes it perfect for a glamorous look.

I hope you found this helpful and have a great weekend 🙂
